college=suicide??

Cornell University has experienced a wave of suicides within their students and two suicides within the past two semesters. it was stated that "In February, a freshman jumped off a bridge over one of the area's well-known gorges. Last Thursday, the body of a sophomore engineering major was found under similar circumstances. Police are also searching for a body in another suspected suicide witnessed last Friday." This is a scary thought for all students attending Cornell for perhaps this "public health crisis" is getting a little out of hand. What should they do to see a decline in student suicides one may ask? I have no idea, you usually do not not hear of this many suicides in one school...and students jumping off bridges as a matter of fact. This tells me the school needs to step in offering "mental heath" classes in ways to check the mental stability of their students. This is a crazy world but if we all jump in, we could all try to change suicide rates by offering life counseling.

Lindsay Lohan sues for "pain and suffering" over 30 sec commercial

Lindsey Lohan has currently sued E-Trade for its 30 second baby commercial! Really Lindsay? 100 million dollars for a 30 second commercial who only mentions your first name? This is outrageous! These baby commercials are for laughs not for "pain and suffering." If you really want to stay out of the news how bout stay out of rehab for a few years, eat a few cheeseburgers and then maybe people will have some sympathy for you. Otherwise, move on with your life. We all know you need that 100 million dollars like you need another designer hand bag. POINTLESS. Get over yourself Lindsey. Your name is not as famous as "Oprah" or "Madonna." There are plenty of other famous "Lindsay's" out there! You are not that big of a deal.

Precious star, Gabourey Sidibe too fat?

After watching the incredible movie Precious, I have kept up with the star, Gabourey Sidibe quite a lot. I watched her at the Grammy's as well as she rocked a beautiful gown and even though she might not be a size two, she still looked gorgeous. After listening to all the criticism she has gotten from critics, I have one question to ask. Who says skinny means beauty and talent? Just because she is no anorexic Olsen twin, who says that she cannot be the star in another blockbuster movie? It really frustrates me when I heard this comment on the news: "The only thing she'll star in again could be The Blind Side II, and she'll be the huge football player!" Many jokes have been cracked on Sidibe's looks which should never interfere with her talent as a young actress. She was even offered by several weight loss companies a free years supply of their weight loss pill. I think beauty is only skin deep and you're only as pretty as you feel. With her, she seems to not care about her size and seems to be proud of it. That is beauty to me.
